Installation, use and maintenance methods
1. The caliber of the water meter should be selected according to the flow rate of the installation site. It is appropriate to use the flow rate close to the common flow rate. The caliber of the water meter should not be determined simply by the pipeline directly, and hot water should not be used (except after restructuring).
2. The upstream and downstream of the water meter shall be installed with the necessary straight pipe section or its equivalent flow rectifier. The length of the upstream straight pipe section shall be no less than 10D, and the length of the downstream straight pipe section shall be no less than 5D (D is the nominal diameter of the water meter).
3. The newly installed pipeline must be cleaned of stones, silt, hemp and other sundries in the pipeline and then installed the flow transmitter to prevent damage or failure of the water meter.
4. The upstream of the water meter should be equipped with a filter with the same nominal diameter as the water meter. The filter should be removed and cleaned frequently, and the impurities accumulated in the filter should be removed to ensure the accurate measurement of the water meter.
5. The upper and lower straight pipe sections of the water meter shall be coaxial installed, and the sealing ring shall not protrude into the pipe, so as not to cause inaccurate measurement.
6. The installation site should avoid exposure, freezing, pollution, moisture and flooding to facilitate disassembly and meter reading.
7. The water meter should be installed by bypass to ensure that the water will not stop when the flow transmitter is disassembled and installed. Water meter installation should pay attention to horizontal installation, so that the literal up, arrow direction and the direction of the flow of the same, on and downstream to install the valve, when using all open.
